We have a variety of options to offer the big game hunter. Whether it is a traditional horseback hunt or a ridge running backpack hunt, we have the flexibility to accommodate hunters of all ages and levels of fitness. We offer both single species hunts or multi-species combination hunts. We depend heavily on a mixed string of horses (quarter horses, morgans, mules, etc.) to supple the hunter with a safe, reliable mode of transportation in the mountains.

Horseback hunts in British Columbia. The camp is a fully outfitted cabin facility complete with running water, hot showers and a hot tub. Our handcrafted log lodge is a place of social gathering and hearty meals. The out cabins are equipped with wood stoves and bunk beds to make for comfortable living quarters for our guests. The camp is situated high above the Flathead River, offering a magnificent view of the North Fork Valley and its surrounding peaks and our Tent Camps are also utilized to access the backcountry.

Hunting camp accommodations in Southwestern British Columbia. Our outfitter has followed in the footsteps of his father who guided in the Flathead area in the late 50's and early 60's. He has worked as an assistant guide in southeastern British Columbia since 1984 in combination with his career as a wildlife biologist/environmental planner before becoming a full-time outfitter in 2000. His crew prides themselves in being friendly and hard working. This combined with their love of the hunt, the need for adventure and the knowledge of the area, supplies a quality experience for our clents.

HUNT SPECIALTIES
Our primary hunt is a classic 10 day Elk hunt during the peak of the rut. From early September through mid-October we are fortunate to be able to hunt trophy bull Elk, 6 points or better, with a rifle. We also include Mule Deer and Black Bear as incidental trophies on this hunt.

For the avid Mule Deer hunter, we offer some excellent, early season Mule Deer hunting in our picturesque alpine environment. In September, we offer two 10 day hunts with an opportunity to harvest a 6 point Elk on a trophy basis. In October, we offer both 10 day and 7 day hunts.

Our 10 day Bighorn Sheep hunt is a combination horseback/backpack hunt along the Continental Divide just north of Waterton Park. We are restricted to harvesting trophy full curl rams.

Hunting opportunities in British Columbia. The Continental Divide is where we also hunt the strikingly beautiful Mountain Goat. It is a 10 day hunt in October after they have grown their winter cape and dropped down into more hunter friendly terrain.

Our area is home to an extremely high density of Mountain Grizzly Bear. This 14 day classic spot and stalk hunt occurs during the spring when the valley awakens in spectacular fashion from the dead of winter. Black Bear and Wolf can be added as incidentals on the hunt.

We also run 7 day spot and stalk Black Bear hunts in the spring. This is a 2 bear area and has a high incidence of light colored bears ranging from chocolate brown to blonde.

The lush riparian habitat is home to a large population of Shiras Moose. It is a late season, 10 day hunt for world class trophy bulls.
