HUNT DETAILS
Trohy Hunting requirements can vary from hunt to hunt. We encourage you to explore all options with us. This will help us put you in the best camps for the best hunting opportunities. Hunting packages can be arranged to suite all situations. 2x1 and 3x1 hunt costs area available upon request. We specialize in free ranging and fair chase hunts, however we have access to excellent safari park trophies as well, if this is your preference. Trophy fees can sometimes be more than the list cost if the hunter requires that extra special trophy, i.e. a red stag better than 300 SCI points, so please discuss this when contacting FOUR STAR ADVENTURES. Non hunting partners are always welcome on the hunt. Separate non-hunter itineraries can be arranged upon request. Contact Ron Simmons at FOUR STAR ADVENTURES by phone 1-540-459-2247 or email, for more details on our package pricing.

NEW ZEALAND

Auckland and Christchurch are the entry points for hunters coming to this country. Queenstown will be your final destination. Your Outfitter will meet you at the airport.

A firearms permit is required and can be obtained from the airport police, from the New Zealand Police web site (www.police.govt.nz) or we can provide this. It is valid for your time in New Zealand. A firearms import form is also included in the application. This is to be filled in and be presented to the police upon arrival. We suggest that you complete this document prior to arrival, as this will help speed up the permit process and your movement through customs.

Queenstown is the adventure capital of New Zealand. Hunters and partners can arrange to ski, shop, sightsee or choose from many other exciting activities during the hunt. Our hunting areas are all within 1 - 3 hours of Queenstown.

AUSTRALIA

If traveling from New Zealand to Australia, Brisbane will be the port of entry. If traveling directly from the US, Sydney may be your first arrival point. As in New Zealand, a firearms permit is required.
Australia provides a diversity of animal species including some very sought after trophies. We offer hunts for Javan Rusa, Goat, Buffalo, Chital and Sambar to name a few.

PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Travel to Papua New Guinea (PNG) is via Cairns, Australia. You will overnight in Mt. Hagen before traveling by fixed wing airplane to the hunting area. Accommodations are in thatched lodge with all modern facilities.
We hunt Mloouccan Rusa in an exceptional area with 600 - 800 animals seen each day. Each hunter can harvest up to five Mollucan Rusa trophies, hunt wild boar and fish some of the best waters in the world. Hunting in PNG is restricted to bow hunters only. No rifles are permitted in this country.
PNG is a relatively primitive country and hunters need to take precautionary measures, such as, immunizations and additional medical/evacuation insurance. Consultation with your doctor is a must.
