The Kamchatka Bighorn Sheep is hunted in the same terrain as the Stone Sheep in North America. Hunters should be in "sheep shape" for this hunt. Expect to spike out in pursuit of your ram. This can be both challenging but also extremely rewarding. Expect a ram in the 34 - 36 inch range.

We have a dependable and qualified Outfitter in Sieria that has some of the best Snow Sheep hunting available today in Russia. One of our clients reports seeing 29 rams of which 21 were full curl in four days of hunting. The area is reached after a 2 - 3 hours helicopter ride. You will need to be in reasonable physical condition as this hunt does require quite a bit of walking. Large wall tents are used for both sleeping and dining. Reindeer are used for packing your game and in addition to your guide you will also have a personal packer. Expect to harvest a sheep in the 150+ range. This hunt is scheduled August - September and you will have seven full days of hunting.
This hunt includes:
- Meeting and seeing off at the airports in Moscow and Yakutsk assisted by interpreter and guides.
- Helicopter transfers to the hunting camps and back.
- Camp staff including Professional Guides, interpreter, cooks, etc.
- Trophy care.
- All necessary permits for one sheep.
The hunt itinerary is as follows:
DAY 1: Arrival in Yakutsk. Transfer to camp.
DAY 2-8: Sheep hunt.
DAY 9: Transfer to Yakutsk. Overnight if necessary.
