ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK HUNTS:
Beyond a doubt the Rocky Mountain Elk is one of the most sought after antlered game in North America.
New Mexico Rocky Mountain Elk archery hunts.Archery Hunts:
Our archery hunter, assisted by our highly qualified bowhunting guides, have consistently enjoyed a success rate on large bulls second to none; including three of the top 50 bulls in Pope & Young records. Seventy-seven percent of the bulls harvested have qualified for the Pope & Young record book. Although we concentrate on taking quality bulls any elk may be legally taken, as well as Mule Deer in velvet. The area we hunt has a reputation for behemoth bull elk. Low hunting pressure, and the fact a large majority of our bowhunting is in primitive-weapons areas, where elk haven't been rifle hunted in 18 years, has allowed an abundance of bulls to reach their superior genetic potential. Hunts occur during the rut and run through most of September in New Mexico and Arizona. Hunting methods include spot-and stalk, calling, stands over water, wallows, and other proven techniques. Most shooting is from 20 to 35 yards. We do not encourage shooting beyond 40 yards, to prevent excessive crippling loss

Muzzleloader Hunts:
Our New Mexico muzzleloader hunts take place in areas that have been restricted to primitive weapons hunting for the past 18 years. This, along with excellent habitat, has allowed elk populations to reach all-time highs, with an exceptional bull-to cow ratio. These areas have also earned a reputation for producing trophy-class bulls. Our first hunt takes place in early October. Hunters can expect heavy bugling, with multiple shooting opportunities during this time frame. We rely heavily on calling and what we refer to as "chasing bugles." The following two hunts take place in mid- New Mexico Rocky Mountain Elk hunting.to-late October, followed by the final hunt in mid November. On later hunts when bugling is less common, we employ spot-and-stalk methods, and water holes when weather cooperates. Stand hunting is also effective. Arizona hunts run six days during the first week in October. This is possibly the best public-land muzzleloader hunt in the country. You can expect to see and receive shooting opportunities at top quality trophy bulls, though, licenses are difficult to draw.

Rifle Hunts:
Our rifle Elk hunts take place in the highly acclaimed Gila of Southwest New Mexico, and surrounding areas. Our many years of experience in these areas, coupled with the exceptional genetic potential, have enable our clients to consistently enjoy high success on trophy bulls. These five-day hunts take place throughout the later half of October, at elevations ranging from 6,000 to 9,000 feet. We recommend large caliber rifles, such as a .300 Mag. or .338 Hunt Rocky Mountain Elk in New Mexico.Winchester. We also offer an anterless elk hunt for the hunter who is simply looking for a relaxed hunting experience and the chance to take home 200 to 400 pounds of succulent meat. License availability is guaranteed. Arizona rifle hunts occur during the peak of the rut in early October through the end of March. We offer rifle hunts for Cow Elk and the chance for a trophy-class bull is second to none. In our opinion this is the finest public-land elk hunt in the world, though, extremely difficult to draw.
