Northern QUEBEC

Thirty years ago, our outfitter in Quebec started exploring the Ungava Region of Northern Quebec. A rugged land, studded with lakes streams and rivers with plenty of white water, fish and wildlife. A long time has since passed, many outfitters have come and gone, gut this one, one of the pioneer outfitters of the North, still delivers top quality hunts in this unspoiled land.

Hunting Quebec Labrador Caribou.This is a family run operation and much time is spent flying their floatplane in and out of the hunting camps and locating the ever changing migration pattern of the Quebec Labrador Caribou. Over the years they have strategically located and built twenty four camps along these migration routes. By limiting their bookings to six hunters per camp and by booking only seven of the twenty four camps they have been able to provide their clients with the highest ratio of spare camps in the industry.

What does this mean to you as a hunter? You have probably noticed different outfitters boasting about "moving you to where the Caribou are". Unfortunately many of these outfitters book two and sometimes three times as many hunters as we do, with few if any spare camps to move you into. In Quebec an outfitter can not legally move you to where the caribou are unless they have an existing camp in the area. If he doesn't and many don't, then you will be poaching on another outfitters territory or cramped into one of their other camps already filled with hunters (not a pretty picture!). Our outfitter has been successful at legally placing hunters into productive camps without over crowding. Even though we have the highest rate of spare camps and boast year after year of being one of the most successful outfitters we cannot guarantee a kill. Caribou are migratory and sometimes will remain completely out of our area. Any outfitter who says otherwise must be suspect of saying anything to book a hunt. We sell only Fair Chase hunt, not a kill. We do not operate a game farm. We can only guarantee the quality of our services.
