Kodiak is a group of islands located southwest of the Kenai Peninsula and Anchorage in the Gulf of Alaska. The islands have a temperate marine climate with rugged mountains, deep green spruce forests and miles of shoreline - the scenery is breathtaking. The town of Kodiak can be reached via several regularly scheduled one hour commercial flights form Anchorage. The two Outfitters we use in this part of the country are both well respected, established Outfits with great success rates.

Kodiak, Afognak and Raspberry Island

We offer fully guided, one on one, fair chase hunts for Kodiak Brown Bear, Roosevelt Elk and Sitka Blacktail Deer on Kodiak, Afognak and Raspberry Islands.

Vicinity map.Most hunts are conducted out of our main facility at Port Vita on Raspberry Island but you may also choose to hunt from a more remote fully equipped tent camp. The Port Vita Camp is a year round facility located at the site of an old herring oil refinery built in the 1930's. There are hot showers, indoor toilet facilities and even banyas (Aleut Saunas).
