Hunting New Zealand

GENERAL INFORMATION

Hunt cancellation: Deposits will be refunded, or the hunt carried over to the next year at the discretion of the Outfitter. This does not apply to hunts cancelled within three months of the hunt date. In this case, no refund will apply.

If the hunt is concluded inside 5 days then hunters can take one of the following options:

Hunt other species and pay the relevant trophy fees.
Fishing for brown or rainbow trout. (no extra cost)
Bird shooting if in season. (no extra cost)
Some other tourist adventure. (some costs may apply)
Choose to go their own way.

Not included in the hunt cost are accommodations outside the hunt dates, all taxidermy, shipping costs including the relevant permit costs, any extra helicopter time not included in the hunt cost.

The hunt cost is all-inclusive, i.e. day rates, trophy fees, meals, accommodations, airport pickup and return.

Helicopter hire is optional for all hunts. It is recommended for those hunters on time constrains, or those restricted by age or fitness levels.

You should be confident in shooting out to 350/400 yards.

If unsuccessful in harvesting a trophy, our Outfitter will refund any trophy fees paid or have the hunter back the following year at no extra cost. This option may not apply if the hunter has had shooting opportunities and not been successful.

We always try to get the best possible trophy for our hunters. Hunters can expect to harvest trophies of SCI record book quality. All trophies are free ranging and fair chase. We do not hunt in enclosures.

Trophy packing, shipping and permits are taken care of by our taxidermist. Cost is extra to the hunt.

Please inform us when booking if you have any medical problems, allergies, etc. or any dislikes in food.

Suggested "Gear List": Gortex wet weather gear, Woolen/fleece shirts (3), Woolen/fleece pants (3), Thermal underwear (top & bottom - 3), Woolen socks (4), Waterproof boots, Woolen hat. (A more detailed "Gear List" will be given with your hunt details/information.)
