Omay Area
This renowned 2 million acre hunting block is situated in the middle of the Zambezi Valley and includes the floodplains of Lake Kariba where huge herds of game can be found on the lush grasses bordering the Lake.

This magnificent wilderness area lies between the Ume River in the East and the Sengwa River in the West and has a common boundary with the uninhabited Matusadona National Park in the North.

Most of the area consists of Miombo and Mopane woodland with large sand stone ridges on the Western side while the east is more broken and hilly offering challenging but rewarding hunting.

The Omay is home to large herds of Elephant and one can expect to see these herds on a regular basis, Hippo and Crocodile are hunted on the Lakeshore.

The Southwestern Area
This 850,000 acre fenced conservation area is situated in the South West of Zimbabwe close to the Northern border of South Africa and Zimbabwe.

This area can be hunted as a single safari destination, or in conjunction with a Zambezi Valley hunt with either a charter or vehicle transfer (which is a 10 hour drive) between areas. The reserve is home to a host of species which occur in large numbers in addition to the Big Five.

Vast herds of Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest and Eland are to be found as well as Sable, Tsessebe, Kudu, Waterbuck, Impala and Warthog.

The area is renowned for its Leopard population with a 70 - 89% success rate on record. Lions are also present with a very limited take off ensuring clients the chance at a big maned trophy.

There are seven luxury safari camps in the reserve allowing hunters exclusive use of a camp while on safari.

In addition there is 5,000 acres of prime water stocked with large mouth bass and bream for those hunters who would like to take some time off to relax during their safari.

Southeastern Area
One of our Outfitters is located approximately one hour from the airport at Buffalo range. As the schedule of flights is so erratic, clients hunting with this outfitter with be met in Harare and driven tot he safari area. The estate itself is made up of over 200,000 which remains unfenced. Being located in the south east corner of the Country, called the lowveld, places it in close proximity to the National Park. Game such as elephant, lion, buffalo and leopard roam free, moving from the estate to the park and back.
