COUGAR HUNTS:

Due to the Cougar's shy and elusive nature and its extensive range, the only sure fire method of hunting it is by trailing with the hounds. When a fresh trail is hit by the strike dogs, the chase is on and the excitement escalates. Chases can be as short as a few minutes or last the entire day. In most cases, the success of the Cougar hunt depends on the quality of the hounds and the knowledge of the hounds men. We are very fortunate to represent two outfitters that are so confident in both their hounds and themselves that our hunts are guaranteed. If we fail to put a mature cat in the tree or in a position for you to shoot, you will be invited to extend your hunt or return at a later date at no additional charge other than your transportation to the area. This is all put in writing before you ever begin the hunt.

In Colorado your hunting accommodations will be in a cabin or possibly in a local motel, depending on the hunt location and the weather. The cats are hunted January - March and licenses can be purchased across the counter.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK HUNTS:

In Colorado, Unit 40 hosts the second best bull to cow ratio in the state for Rocky Mountain Elk! We are able to offer over 20,000 acres of private leases that support a resident herd in excess of 400 animals. It is difficult to spend a day hunting without seeing Elk. The camp caters to a limited number of hunters each season. It offers the archer a great opportunity to harvest a quality bull during the rut. Bulls in excess of 350 Boone & Crocket have been taken with bow and arrow. During rifle season most hunters fill their Elk tags in the first few days and for the most part with bulls scoring above 280 Boone & Crocket. This is a draw unit and requires two or three preference points, giving every hunter plenty of time to plan this hunt. The accommodations and meals are second to none.

NOTE: Excellent Mule Deer hunting can be had in combination with the Elk at no additional charge

ROCKY MOUNTAIN MULE DEER HUNTS:

Colorado has long been noted in the record book for its big Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. We are able to offer you that opportunity on our private lease in the southeast portion of the state. We would like the opportunity to add your name to our list of satisfied clients. The hunting begins with a one month archery season during the last week in August. Rifle season is during October. You'll be provided with a comfortable bunkhouse, outstanding meals, reliable guides and probably more trophy Rocky Mountain Mule Deer per square mile than any place else in the state.
